The Delivery Driver is responsible for delivering company products to customers in a timely fashion and ensuring smooth and consistent operation to satisfy customer requirements. Duties include operating a commercial vehicle on roadways, collecting monies due, and processing appropriate paperwork.
• Loading, transporting and delivering items to clients or businesses in a safe, timely manner. • Reviewing orders before and after delivery to ensure that orders are complete, the charges are correct, and the customer is satisfied. • Assisting with loading and unloading items from vehicles. • Accepting payments for delivered items, if necessary. • Providing excellent customer service, answering questions, and handling complaints from clients. • Adhering to assigned routes and following time schedules. • Abiding by all transportation laws and maintaining a safe driving record. • Preparing reports and other documents relating to deliveries. • Operating equipment and machines as per the work demands • Operate vehicles in and safe and secure manner • Be mindful of health and safety of your own and others at the same time • Be safe on the road, park only in loading zone or designated areas Job Type: Full-time Salary: $25.00 – $27.00 per hour Schedule: • 8-hour shift
