OTR Truck Driver Job Description
Job Summary:
We need experienced professional OTR Team drivers for our semi-truck and we're looking for drivers who can work on time and exceed our standards of excellence along the way. Our drivers are responsible for safely delivering goods from one location to another, so the ideal candidate will be comfortable driving a large vehicle, staying on schedule, and making sure all shipments are delivered on time.
OTR Truck Driver Qualifications:
- Must pass a background check.
- Must have a clean driving record to apply.
- Must have a minimum of a year's worth of CDL A driving experience
- Must have reefer experience.
- Must be able to work OTR for 3+ weeks at a time
- Must live within 50 miles of Omaha, NE
OTR Truck Driver Responsibilities:
- Drive a CDL class A semi-truck over the hundreds of miles of terrain between cities every day efficiently while always keeping safety the highest priority. (Bonuses will be rewarded for safety)
- Take care of your truck.
- Understand how to follow maps.
- Be able to effectively and efficiently manage their scheduled delivery window times with our customers.
- Exhibit exceptional customer service with each customer you encounter.
- Drivers are encouraged to build new customer clientele (bonus pay will be rewarded)
- Job Types: Full-time, Contract.
- Salary: $81,200.00 - $120,000.00 per year.
Schedule:
- 10-hour shift
- 12-hour shift
- 8-hour shift
- Day shift
- Overtime
- Weekend availability
