Coach & Bus Driver Opportunities

We're seeking dedicated individuals to join our team at Abbots Holdings Ltd. in Papatoetoe, Auckland, New Zealand. If you have a passion for bus driving and a knack for customer service, we'd love to hear from you.


Position Details:

  • Local School and Charter Driver (Casual): We are looking for a casual driver to handle local school routes and other charters/transfers.
  • Seasonal Coach Driver or Part-Time: Join us for exciting tours to Rotorua and potentially Wellington, showcasing New Zealand to overseas tourists.


Requirements:

  • License: Drivers must possess a Class 2 license with a P endorsement, and Class 4 is preferred.
  • Clean Record: Candidates must be drug-free. Drug testing and police checks will be conducted.
  • Customer-Centric: Excellent interpersonal skills, patience with clients and traffic, and a passion for working with people are a must.
  • Professionalism: Maintain a clean and tidy appearance. Uniforms will be provided. Please refrain from wearing jeans, shorts, or jandals.
  • Responsibility: Ability to clean and fuel the buses/coaches at the end of each shift.


Compensation:

  • Local Drivers: Competitive hourly rate, to be discussed during the interview.
  • Tour & Overnight Jobs: Daily rate plus overnight allowance. Motel/hotel accommodation, meals, or allowances will be provided.
  • About Us: Abbots Holdings Ltd is a longstanding, family-owned company in the bus and coach industry.
  • Location: Some buses are based in Papatoetoe/Wiri, while others are in Takanini.
