DHL Supply Chain, an award-winning leader in the supply chain industry, is currently hiring an experienced LGV C+E Driver (HGV Class 1) for a crucial role in our distribution service in Coventry.

POSITION DETAILS:

IMPORTANT: THIS ROLE INVOLVES THE MANUAL HANDLING OF AUTOMOTIVE TYRES


As part of your regular duties, while maintaining high health and safety standards, you will:

  • Handle and unload automotive tires manually.
  • Start times are between 02:00-06:00; candidates must be available for all start times.
  • Work on a Monday-to-Friday shift pattern.
  • Earn a salary of £37,852 based on a 48-hour week.
  • Make 1-2 drops per day UK-wide, delivering to tire wholesalers and retailers with manual handling involved.
  • Drive safely and efficiently following Drivers' Hours and Working Time Directive regulations.
  • Adhere to health and safety standards, including The Highway Code, road safety rules, and vehicle regulations.


QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:

  • Valid HGV Class 1 Driving Licence (C+E), Driver CPC Qualification, and Digital Tachograph Card.
  • Preferred commercial experience in driving LGV C+E (HGV Class 1) vehicles.
  • Understanding of the physicality of the role due to manual handling and tire unloading.
  • Successful completion of a CRB criminal record check.
  • Reside near Coventry, CV6 4QB.
