Join our team at Drake New Zealand and be a crucial part of our glass industry transport operations. We are seeking a dedicated Class 2 Truck Driver to help transport made-to-order glass products throughout New Zealand.
In this role, you will play a vital part in ensuring the safe and timely delivery of custom-ordered glass from our base in Hamilton to various locations across the North Island. We are looking for individuals with experience operating large Class 2 trucks who are eager to advance their careers within our rapidly growing company.
Key Responsibilities:
- Transporting custom-ordered glass products
- Assisting with loading and unloading in Hamilton and at client drop-off points
- Adhering to scheduling and loading plans
- Ensuring the implementation of safe practices and processes
Skills and Experience:
- A positive attitude
- Excellent communication skills
- Class 2 driver's license
- Physical fitness for lifting glass during loading
- Previous Class 2 truck driving experience
- Prior experience working with glass is a plus (but not essential)
